june wishlist

I made the decision on my birthday, which was at the end of May, to go on a major spending freeze starting on the first day of June. No new clothes, new shoes, new makeup, new anything until the first day of September. I thought that a three month spending freeze to give my wallet and bank account a much needed break.

Of course, this hasn't stopped me from doing a little online window shopping. I have my eye on a few things, but I'm proud of myself for not actually purchasing any of it!

Here's my June wishlist!

what to watch this weekend

Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's {What to Watch} // Style Caddy

Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's.

This documentary {which you can watch on Netflix or iTunes} is not new. In fact, you may have already seen it. If you haven't, then trust me when I say that you need to.

Bergdorf Goodman is a very well-known luxury goods department store located here in New York City. It's hard to miss when you're walking along Fifth Avenue, not just because it's so iconic but because it takes up an entire block.

You learn more about Bergdorf's in the documentary, its history and how it's become such a fixture in pop culture. You'll hear from some of fashion's elite and their own sales associates and buyers about how truly special and great it is to work there and be featured in the store. You also get a look at how their holiday window displays come to be. If you are ever in New York City in the winter, a visit to Bergdorf's and their amazing windows is a must! And then pop into their café for a pretty view and great food.

I promise that this documentary won't disappoint! It's quite interesting, whether you're into fashion or not.

Have a great weekend!

PS. Just try and guess how much their top performing sales associates and personal shoppers make in a year. It honestly made me reconsider my current job and whether or not I should start looking into that type of career.

off to pinehurst!

Style Caddy // Off to Pinehurst!

I know it's been awhile since I've posted. Long story short (and a tip for you), if you start having trouble with your computer, you should have it checked out right away. Don't wait six months.

Anyway...

I'm off to North Carolina today for a fun Father's Day weekend of US Open golf at Pinehurst No. 2. I thought I would share a few favorites from around the web today and then try and get back to regular posting next week.

-- Rickie Fowler wore knickers and high socks in honor of the late great Payne Stewart, who won the US Open at Pinehurst in 1999.

-- The decorated streets of Brazil for the World Cup look amazing.

-- These easy breakfast ideas sound and look delicious and are healthy for you.

-- I am loving this DIY peony wreath!

-- I don't think I could ever get a real tattoo so these Rifle Paper & Co. temporary ones are perfect.

-- If you're looking for lots of cuteness, then you should watch the videos of the Saccone-Jolys. Cutest kids ever!

Have a great weekend!
