beauty on a budget: concealers

Beauty On a Budget: Concealer Dupes // A Style Caddy

It's not much of a secret that I love makeup. Sephora is one of my favorites places to shop, but sometimes the purchases aren't so budget friendly. So of course, I get incredibly excited when I find a drugstore dupe for a high-end product! Since I wear concealer every day, finding a drugstore concealer that is similar to a pricier favorite makes my day.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer {$29} vs. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer {$7}: Both of these concealers are incredibly moisturizing, creamy, and long-lasting. Maybelline doesn't offer the same shade range that NARS does so it may be a bit more difficult to find your perfect/exact match, but I don't know of many drugstore brands that win in that department. They both work as an all-around concealer - covering dark circles, redness, and blemishes - and don't emphasize dry patches. NARS does offer a tad bit more coverage since it's a thicker formula compared to Maybelline's more fluid consistency, but adding an extra layer of the drugstore pick doesn't bother me.

YSL Touche Éclat {$41} vs. L'Oréal Magic Lumi {$13}: Both YSL and L'Oréal have an illuminizing effect, which is great for those especially tired mornings. They also both work as under eye concealers and face highlighters. Again, the drugstore version doesn't have as many shades as the higher end, but I wasn't so surprised by that. YSL has a thicker consistency compared to L'Oréal and definitely lasts longer. I often find myself wanting to touch up and apply more throughout the day when I've used the Magic Lumi as my concealer. It's still a great budget-friendly option!
