Memorial Day Weekend has always signified the start of summer. Sunshine, barbecues, days down the shore - just some of the best parts of the season. I thought I would share three yummy desserts that are perfect to have on any sunny day but are especially great to serve up at your Memorial Day barbecue. Start off with a classic cheeseburger and the cold drink of your choice, then end your meal with one of these.

Over the years, I've noticed that I tend to travel more during the warmer months. I used to have such a difficult time choosing what to wear on the plane or in the car. Trips can be long and often cold, and all you really want is to be comfortable but still look put together. I've found that the best answer for this is the maxi dress. 

I didn't really discover the greatness of traveling in a maxi dress until last spring, but I've never looked back. A jersey cotton dress is so comfortable and easy to wear. You can dress it up with a bold necklace or a colorful scarf, a denim jacket or cozy sweater adds warmth, and it pairs well with sandals or sneakers. I'm actually wearing this dress from J. Crew Factory while traveling today and love it! You really can't go wrong with this comfortable and chic combo.

Style Caddy started from there.

In golf, a caddy doesn't just carry a golfer's bag and clubs. They offer moral support, give insightful advice, and have a little fun too. And that's what I want this blog to be - a little bit of everything from outfit ideas to fashion and beauty favorites to recipes… and whatever else I may think of along the way.
