milky way apple blondies

Milky Way Apple Blondies // A Style Caddy

... Or what to do with all your extra chocolate Halloween candy. If you ever end up with some extra candy, you need to add it to this blondie recipe. Anything from plain Hershey bars, Milky Ways, Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, M&Ms - whatever you have on hand will be great! I am just especially partial to this apple, chocolate, and caramel mix. It's like a caramel and chocolate apple that's just so much easier to eat. I can guarantee that it's a recipe that everyone will love! I dare you to try and eat just one...

Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped Granny Smith apples {or any good baking apple}
1 cup chopped Milky Way {about 8-9 fun sized bars}

Directions:
1. After chopping your Milky Way bars, place them in the fridge. This ensures that they don't melt while you prepare everything else!
2. Preheat the oven to 350℉. Spray your 9x13" pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Make sure there's a little bit of overhang so that you can easily take out the blondies once they're done baking.
3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Mix together until well combined.
4. Add in eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
5. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
6. Add you wet ingredients to your dry ingredients and mix together.
7. Fold in your chopped apples and Milky Way pieces.
8. Spread the batter evenly in your baking pan.
9. Bake for 27-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
10. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

ENJOY!
