Players on the LPGA tour have taken the meaning of a 'drop' in golf in a different direction. It's become more and more popular for golfers, like Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson, to up the ante in golf fashion by accessorizing with drop earrings. While I've never been one to wear anything but studs while on the course, I can see the appeal. More delicate drop earrings add just the right amount of glamour and femininity to the game that is dominated by the not-always-flattering polos and shorts combo.
The verdict is still out on whether or not I'll be giving these a go the next time I play a round of 9 or 18, but it is definitely on my radar...
